Our Overall #1 Rated Pick
Updated On January 12, 2022
Our top pick is this set of titanium blade clippers by Ceenwes.
Charge this for up to three hours and use it for an equal amount of time.
This product had the longest-lasting battery compared to the other clippers on this list. It comes with four different attachments including the three, six, nine, and twelve-millimeter combs.
All are great for both removing and finishing while not being noisy and effectively cutting with every stroke.
Easy, safe, and comfortable, most dogs won’t even notice that you are clipping their hair.

What Are The Different Types Of Clippers For Pomeranians?
The different types of clippers I’ve come across in my search for the best one for my furball include:
Pet Trimmers
Not quite as strong or as powerful as a clipper, a pet trimmer is usually powered by batteries and can be used to touch up your pet pooch.
Pet trimmers are frequently used for paws and a Pomeranian’s face since it is smaller and less aggressive.
Cordless Clippers
Rechargeable and battery-powered, cordless clippers all operate wirelessly.
Their main benefit is that you can groom without getting wires tangled around your dog or grooming area.
However, they are not usually used by professionals as they do not always maintain full power distribution to the blades when grooming.
Everything else works the same, as you can attach blade guards and replace blades if needed.
Corded Clippers
Corded clippers offer the most power and maintain a constant flow of power to the blades at all times.
Benefits of using this include having no time restraints, and a cheaper price to buy. Cordless clippers carry a little more on price as they aim to offer the same utility without the excess cording.
The downside is that cords are not covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee as they fall into the bucket of ”wear and tear’.
What’s more, is that cords are likely to get tangled twisted, and limit you to the area where you’re plugged in.

What to Look For In High Quality best Clippers For Pomeranians?
When looking for a high-quality clipper, look for ones with:
- The least noise
- Long battery life/corded
- Several Blade guards
The Least Amount of Noise
Pomeranians are not the best or the worst with keeping still.
Grooming can be a stressful experience for dogs (especially for this first time) so using a quiet set of clippers will help to make the experience soothing and calm.
Noise is measured in decibels (dB). to give you perspective, 60 dB is as loud as two people sitting 3 feet away from each other having a conversation.
Or if you’re listening to two people from my family, then my be much higher (just joking!).
Long Battery Life/Corded
The easiest way to think about this would be to consider how many dogs you will be grooming per session.
Pomeranians require less time than German Shepherds or Golden retrievers, so if it’s the one dog you have, then corded is a good shout.
Are you a home groomer or professional? home grooming is best done in my personal experience with ‘trimmers’.
You don’t need to give your dog a complete cut and you’ll get a much better finish with limited experience using trimmers.
The average length of time most clippers offer ranges between 30 to 60 minutes of grooming time.
Note, we assume that most of you reading this are home grooming, so the products we’ve reviewed are for just that!
Blade guards
Blade guards allow you to adjust the length of the cut and can also be used for styling and finishing too.
For beginners, these tools will be your best friend, as they allow you to get a nice finish without a ton of skill.
Most are made from plastic and come n various sizes that are sometimes interchangeable with other clippers too.
Our Reviews Of The Best clippers for Pomeranians
Pick #1: Ceenwes Low Noise Pet Clipper
Most dogs will have no problems with you grooming them using these clippers as they operate very quietly and lightly remove hair.
I would describe the noise as more of a humming than a buzz.
A full charge will last you as long as 1 hour on full power allowing you to get a groom on multiple dogs if need be.
Pros
- very low noise
- Lightweight
- Easy to groom with
- Long working time (holds charge)
Cons
- Blade guards are weak and snap easily
- Hair clogs and gets stuck in guards when using them
Pick #2: Sminiker Professional Pet Grooming Kit
The sharp ceramic blades of the Sminiker Pet Grooming kit make grooming Pomeranians a breeze.
It includes a range of blade combs ranging 3-6-9 and 12mm that allows you to target every area of your dog with damage control.
Ultra-quiet with less than 60 decibels, there is also a low vibration and a precision motor that runs fully charged for up to 26 minutes.
The manufacturer claims this product will last up to 40 minutes, but we couldn’t get it to operate for this long when testing.
You can adjust the naked blade between 2mm- 0.9mm for slight adjustment when clipping areas that require extra focus.
Pros
- Leaves dog with a professional-looking cut
- Easy to use
- Works well on thick coats
Cons
- Shears are sturdy but not sharp
- Battery does not as long as claims by the manufacturer
Pick #3: Enjoy Pet Professional Hair Grooming Clippers
These cordless clippers are heavy-duty and operate relatively quietly.
Being made in the USA makes the parts easy to replace and customer services are happy to help (we tested).
The high capacity 2000mAh Li-battery lasts for around 45 minutes when grooming. A far cry from the 7 hours claimed by the manufacturers.
Although, some other reviewers have claimed these clippers to last for up to 3 hours per session.
After using it a few times, we did notice the ceramic blades begin to dull and would warm a little more than they did on the first run.
Overall this product does particularly well with matted hair but we think would do better if clipper oil was included in the package too.
Pros
- Very good on thick matted hair
- Low noise during use
- Easy to maneuver
Cons
- Battery starts to die very fast from multiple uses
Pick #4: Hatteker Professional Grooming Kit
This pet grooming kit includes ten guide combs, a storage case, styling apron, stainless steel scissors, a cleaning brush, a pet grooming kit, and a ninety-day full refund if you are not satisfied with your purchase.
A 90-minute charge will give you around 50 minutes of use. Some reviewers mentioned them lasting as long as 2 hours on a full charge.
The clippers cut well with the blade guards on, but the guard themselves are not very strong and the clippers when used without a snag on thick hair.
This is a great option for well-maintained dogs that require a once-over, but not for those that have been left and need a complete overhaul.
Pros
- Lightweight
- Low calm operating noise
- Comfortable to hold
Cons
- Gets stuck on thick fur
Pick #5: Beatural Professional Pet Grooming Kit
Comfort combs, precision-cut titanium blades, and adjustable attachments are what you get from Pet Union.
Cordless operation and a comfortable fit, grooming a Pomeranian become an easy experience for the hardest-to-reach areas of Pomeranian.
The kit includes a set of clippers, scissors, thinning shears, a metal comb, a toenail clipper, and a nail file.
To maintain great results, the blades must be removed, cleaned, then oiled regularly.
A great pro is that you can use these clippers while they are still plugged in, so you can plug and play if you run out of power.
Pros
- Very quiet
- Lightweight and sturdy
- You can use the clippers while plugged in
Cons
- Blade begins to dull from multiple uses
- Battery burns out very quickly within a few month of use

Our Top Pick is the Ceenwes Low-Noise Pet Clippers.
Professional grade, the acute angle titanium blade is complemented by the movable ceramic blade.
There are five levels of length you can fine-tune between 0.8 to 12 millimeters. The comb follows the contour of your Pom.
Gentle on skin, new DIY groomers will love the ease this set provides.
Final Thoughts On clippers for Pomeranians
Remember, noise levels are measured in dB, and a regular conversation between two people standing 3 feet away is roughly 60dB.
This will help you to understand the specs of the majority of thee products. Look for sharp blades, good battery life, and clippers that come in a kit.
It will save you time, effort and most of all, money!
Lucky for you we’ve included all of the above in the 5 products we reviewed for this post.
